I believe this pistol uses the same components as the P22spring and hammer. Don't limp-wrist it because that will cause feeding issues. failure to feed, failure to eject. My mag release is pretty stiff also - takes the thumb on one side and finger on the other to release. New mags didn't seem to have an effect.
